Note From Karen Have You Heard? It's shameless, I know, but I can't help but enjoy reading tidbits of gossip about celebrities: their lives are so much more interesting than mine, lol! Right now there are some juicy stories out; read through and decide for yourself which are true!
Just a reminder: the boards on the Magazines channel do not have Explore iVillage folders, and we are not allowed to promote boards other than Magazine boards over there. If a Magazines CL asks permission to post an invite on one of your boards, keep in mind that they are unable to return the favor by allowing you to promote your board on theirs. This is simply a different policy that Magazines has, and is not the decision of the CL. You are never required to allow them to post on your board, but it would be a huge help to them if you would give permission when asked! What's New Today: Note From Brenda

Let me know when you've made your 250th post so we can acknowledge it here. Then let me know when you reach the 500 mark, the 750 mark, the 1,000 mark, etc. so we can cheer you on even more! Reminders: v Post to your boards several times throughout the week. This is a requirement in order to retain your CL status. It is imperative that our leaders maintain an active presence on the boards; failure to do so may result in loss of your CL status. Notification of expected absence from the board you host is essential. If something unexpected causes your absence, contact me as soon as you are able, so I can cover or find coverage for you! v Send in board reports in a timely manner. If you share the board responsibilities with another host, try to work out a schedule so you both share the duties. v Report spam or other inappropriate posts, either via the "report a violation" link or by dropping us an email at kmcginty@mail.ivillage.com and blavigne@mail.ivillage.com . Please refrain from "tagging" posts you consider inappropriate as such. v Keep in touch! If you have to be away from your board for a few days, please let us know. If you have a co-host on the board, be sure to let them know about your expected absence, too.
